  ABOUT THE HOUSE

The house is built in the style of the traditional town house found in all the small villages in this area of Spain. However, it is a very recently built property (2006) with many of the features of the old style house yet packed with all the modern facilities and conveniences you hope to find in a holiday home.

The house is located in the mountain village of Albunuelas near the head of the Lecrin Valley yet is only 15 minutes by car from the motorway linking Granada with the Costa Tropical where you'll find the predominantly Spanish holiday resorts of Salobrena and Almunecar.

The complex consists of 14 properties with a communal swimming pool. The entrance is within metres of the main road into Albunuelas and is within 200m of the centre of the village.

The complex is secure and each property has an entry system for the main gate.

A private parking space is available for each property in the underground car park. This is also secured with remote controlled garage door opening.

The house is built on two levels. Beneath the house is the communal garage which is used by the properties in the complex.

The ground floor is the main living area and here there is a large lounge with dining area, a well fitted kitchen and a small toilet / washroom.

The upper floor is accessed by the open staircase from the lounge area, where there are
two bedrooms and the main bathroom / shower.

In the living area there are two seater and three seater leather settees, a coffee table and a TV unit with a 21" colour TV and DVD player.

The DVD player can also take CD, MP3, JPG and other common formats so you can bring along your favourite media.
Lounge

Dining Area
The lounge and dining area are open plan.

The dining area looks over the rear patio and there is a four seater dining table with adjustable lighting.

The table can be extended for additional guests or simply to give more space for that extravagant dinner!

The kitchen is one of the houses leading features.

It is fully fitted and includes fridge freezer, clothes washer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, cooker hood, microwave and lots and lots of cutlery, cooking utensils and pots and pans.

The theme is generally white and stainless steel but wood grain surfaces and trims effectively add a splash of luxury.

Mian Bedroom
The main bedroom has a king size bed, a small built-in wardrobe and lots of drawer storage in bedside tables and a dressing table.

Patio doors lead onto the upper floor terrace, which is south facing, and provides magnificent views over the valley and mountains opposite.

The terrace is protected from the overhead sun by the roof overhang. This protection provides comfortable sitting out conditions even in the midday sun.

The second bedroom has two single beds. They are placed so that they can be either separated or joined to form a large double bed.

The bedroom also contains wardrobe and bedside tables to provide adequate hanging space and drawer space.

Pool with a View
The communal swimming pool is a good size (8.5 x 2.5m) and boasts a magical view across the valley towards the Sierra Guajares.

The raised seating area at the rear of the pool is a natural suntrap and faces south.

Pool side loungers are provided in the house for use in this area.
